The Men in Blue edged past South Africa to end their ICC trophy drought, finally adding the trophy that they have been chasing for so long to the cabinet.
With this win, Kohli joins legends including MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh and others who have been a part of the team that has lifted the World Cup twice (both ODI and T20 WC).

Had Kohli not come up with his 59-ball 76, things would’ve certainly been extremely bleak for India. Alongside Axar Patel, Kohli was critical for India handing a 177-run target for the Proteas in the Final.
