Nishad Kumar ganha prata no salto em altura masculino T47 nas Paralimpíadas de Paris, estabelecendo a melhor marca da temporada.
India’s high jumper Nishad Kumar added another medal to India’s tally after winning silver at the Paris Paralympics. The high jumper from Himachal Pradesh clinched the silver medal in the men’s high jump T47 event. He made his best jump of 2.04m, which is also his season best.
Roderick Townsend from the USA won the gold medal with the best jump of 2.08m. Nishad tried to challenge but failed in all three attempts.
Ram Pal on 7th position
Another Indian in the event, Ram Pal, failed to find success at the Paris Paralympics. He finished in 7th place with his best jump of 1.95m, equalling his personal best.
